Fallkniven S1 or SOG Seal Pup Elite (streight edge)

Fallkniven.
It's a good knife.
I have the heavier A1, and it is useful, strong, and it holds the edge ( just a little hard to resharpen )

But, as someone suggested, look at the Ontario RAT series ( 1095 steel ).
Good knives, low prices. ;)

I have a satin finish SEAL Pup Elite. I ditched the cheasy sheath and picked up a leather Kabar one. It fits perfect. The Seal Pup has a nice edge and AUS-8A is always a good stainless steel to work with. I am not a SOG fan at all but I do like having an inexpensive 5" fixed blade around. :)

I'd take the fallkniven over the two, you can also check out Entrek USA knives(never go into the woods without my Javalina)or maybe a custom piece by Chris Fisher

The SOG is great for the price. The S1 will hold an edge better and is better if you plan to do things like chopping, batoning
