I was told they are in receivership & haven't shipped anything out in a year.

I'm after an S1 myself too.
 
We cant get nuthin' up here in the Great White North!!
Guess I'll have to smash a moose leg-bone & make my own knife!! Dang!
 
WHAT ??? I've got an S1 on order from 1sks and they said a backorder of about two weeks .
 
The owner had health problems, so he considered selling the company, but fortunetely he's getting better and continues the business.
 
They are NOT out of business, I assure you!! I know they have some great plans for 2006!!
 
Can't help you for Ontario, but you might want to give Rowland at Target Knives here in Calgary a call (www.targetknives.com) - 1-877-243-6996 (toll free #). Can't say for sure if he has an S1, but last time I was there, early Dec. (got my SERE 2K there), he did have some Falknivens there. It's not on their web page, but that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have one either:D Pretty amazing what he's got in there.
