Fallkniven Thor Arrived!

When using it hard I'll definitely wrap the lanyard around the outside of my hand and attach it below the guard in addition to the hole in the bottom.

Sorry for the bump from the past, but I just can't picture this.

Can anyone explain it better or show a pic? Would love a super secure grip on my NL1 :)

Also, keen for a kydex or something else sheath if anyone can help?

Anyone?

hedgehogleatherworks makes a really nice sheath for the NL knives, but they aren't cheap at around $200-$300 last time I checked.

I'm sure one of the makers here on the sheath subforum could make up something for you though....

Bear in mind that lanyards can be a double edged sword. During rough use, if the knife slips out of your hand, it can swing violently on the lanyard and cut you very badly. Food for thought. Might be better to focus on the task at hand, instead of relying on a crutch that brings its own set of hazards to the table.

The Thor really is a beautiful knife. The Swedes really have a way with clean lines. My local knife store is bringing in ESEE [ don't they really just offer one knife in a bunch of different sizes?] ,which seems to have a lot of people excited, but I wish they'd bring in Fallkniven. I guess the Thor must cost a bundle though.
