Justa heads up. I was looking for the Caly Burg which is sold out and happen to see that www.knifeworks.com has the U2 available. I seem to remeber that they were also sold out, werent they?

I got my U2 from TheKnifeCenteroftheInternet.com, BUT they were backordered, and I waited a couple of months on mine!! This is also where I ordered my Caly.Jr. but they told me they were out of stock and hard to get; but when they got one in, they would fill my order!

Thats what I remembered reading and thats why I posted this heads up. I just couldnt remember where I read it from as I frequent a few boards and someone asked if any are available. He said the exact same thing u experienced. Its there in the catalog and can be ordered but backordered. This was b4 the Caly Burg came out.

Regarding the Caly Burg, Kristi of Spyderco has stated that ,1200 were made and they are all sold out. No more will be made, but theres always the hope that they will do a 2nd run. Next cheep zdp189 blade is the delica blue, but that will come in solid zdp189, not sanmai.

I wonder who wud be the fisrt to post a comparo between the 2 cheep sanmai blade, Caly Burg and Fallkniven U2?

Yup, got mine too. Comes very sharp but not Caly sharp. The blade shape of the U2 is more versatile but a bit short. OK for office use as it doest look very scary. The bevel is a bit more, 40-45deg. Am going to cut that down to 30deg so its easier to touchup the edge on the 204.

Deng, now which shud I carry, the Caly Burg or the U2?
