I'm not sure I understand the question. I presume she would be a weenie both before and after heat treatment.

i always grind the false edge after heat treat, but i do all my grinding after heat treat,seems to help on warpage.

Great reply my only adition is that weenies belong on the end of a long stick that has been sharpened to a good point by a HAND MADE
(oops sorry) knife and held low over the shimmering coals of a camp fire.
Now we all are about to get whupped.
