When do I not have tons of photos : )

Yesterday the family went out to visit some friends. Let's just say they have considerable more property than we do : ) Enough to shoot, hunt, ride four wheelers, buffalo, and ponds to fish in.

Their beautiful ponds.

Their buffalo.

First order of business was shooting some 22s. (I will explain the pink rifle in a moment).

So, my wife got the PINK Ruger 10/22 last fall. She wanted to play and tweak the scope.

We put Brendan on mag loading duty.

Madelyn was just looking pretty at the moment. But, she shot too. That Marlin 39A is probably my favorite rifle of all time!

Brendan has shot a few of my guns, but not a 10/22. So Jen was showing him how to do the safety and use the scope.

I don't have pictures, but next Brendan shot alone. Using the rest, but doing everything else on his own. I was quite impressed.

Not too bad for 6! He was also shooting cans like a champ, which he thought was a blast.

To Be Continued.......

We also had to get in about 20 thousand 4 wheeler and Ranger rides.

Here is baby Ben doing what he does best, while enjoying the outdoors.

I knew I was going to take some serious crap for that rifle! :)

If it helps at all, I do have a 10/22 in checkered walnut. I just figured why take another identical one to have to clean? :)

Besides, I was hoping that the 39A would make up for it in the manliness department. Guess not :grumpy:

Those are some great pics, Brian! You're family looks great.

I can't give you flack about the pink rifle. Firstly because it's worth whatever it takes to have a significant other enjoy shooting more. But more importantly, my dad had a couple of 1919's he assembled for us when we were growing up. One was 'my sisters' and one was mine. Mine was in A6 configuration with the shoulder stock and all, and hers.... hers was painted pink. A bright pink 1919. Good lord.

Brian awesome pics. Ben sure is growing. That looks like a great place to visit with friends and all.
I bet Brendan was feeling like he was 10' tall and bullet proof LOL after shooting like that.

Your Friend's have a Beautiful place and a Herd of Buffalo ! That's Great your getting your Kid's Involved In Shooting Sport's, Your Boy Shot some Nice Group's, And I like that Marlin 39A that Is Top Of The Line, Most Kid's are Awesome Shooter's with there Eyesight and Steady Hand's, I taught my Niece how to Shoot at the age of 5 and she was putting 5 Shot group's off the Bench at 30 Feet In to a Dime size Hole with my Old Remingtom 510 TargetMaster with Iron Sight's, Thank's for sharing the picture's from your Family outing,

Great day of shooting and enjoying the outdoors! Nothing better than that! Impressive group for a young one as well.

Sweet pics of a family day out! That is just to cool that your son can shot the 22 already by himself. I can't until I can get my sons out there to shoot some day.
