I was pleasantly surprised to see skateboarding and knives, my two loves, come together on the Instagram today.
Post is from a few weeks ago, but I just saw it today.

Now that I know one of my favorite skaters shares a love of knives, I'm curious, any other "famous" knife fans out there that we know of....?
(Yes, I've seen the video of Angelina playing with a balisong on Conan...>_>)

Joe perry and steven tyler from aerosmith, Sylvester Stallone, Angelina Jolie. Those are the ones off the top of my head. We have had a few threads on the subject but they have long since been buried. I am never too surprised to see that someone famous is a knife collector. What I am curious about is if any of the famous collectors were ever members here.

Those you mentioned are pretty well known. I'm curious about the lesser knowns. Like anyone from the world of sports or politics perhaps?
Anybody who you'd never guess would be into knives??

I'd love to pour through the names in the books of some of the top custom makers and see who's been ordering what.
That "NT Times does a positive knife story" post showed one of the hosts from "America's Next Top Model" with a pretty sweet traditional. I never would have guess that guy was into knives...

All the guys from Aerosmith have DDR customs.

Don't forget Zac Brown. He's really into Emersons and is of course the founder of Southern Grind knives

Woohoo! Chris Cole FTW! He's an awesome skater. That's a bunch of Kershaws.

I know Adam Savage (Mythbusters) is into Harsey knives

Andrew Zimmern is the only one I know of. I don't watch TV though.

Gabe Newell! Founder of Valve/Steam and behind games like Half Life 1+2. He is even a member on these forums, although inactive for quite some time.

That's what I wonder also. Who may be famous behind the screen name. Have you called him/her a douche? Or offended them with an offer? Always wondered lol

There's a picture floating around of Ed O'Neill (Modern Family) posing with his JBB Knives Arrestor somewhere, apparently he's a knife nut as well!

David Crosby of CSN & Y has a large high end collection. Nicholas Cage and Jim Carrey had a thing for high end folders. Robert Deniro has been spotted perusing Paragon's knife counter a few times. Sir Mix a Lot & Ice T both have shown a appreciation for fantasy knives. K C Armstrong, formerly of The Howard Stern Show liked Spyderco, as did Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. John Popper of Blues Traveler has a big collection.

David Mamet and David Morrell were two others that I remember that had a good interest over the years for them. Lawrence Block also seems to have a little interest too.

Mamet is friends with Bill Bagwell, and Morrell is the writer of First Blood and other novels.
