Fancy Friday

Beautiful knife. Can you provide a few details? Dimensions?, Handle material, steel..

The knife is 3 1/4" long closed, satin finish 440C blade and spring, mastodon ivory covers. Bolsters and liners are 416 stainless, and the shield is sterling silver.
I made this one as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately she will not carry this one.

Thanks for the response. I am very partial to the pattern. Your's is exquisite and I'm sure she's as I would be. Afraid it would come to harm.

That's a great looking little knife! The ivory and sterling sure add some icing to a beautiful cake!

I've heard that Mike is difficult to get in touch with but I have not tried to contact him myself for several years. I spoke with him at a knife show in January of this year and he did have some of his knives at his table that looked like newer designs.

I attended another knife show on 7/28/18. Mike was on the list of vendors but he wasn't there that day during the hours that I was there. I ran into a member of the knife club that Mike is a member of and he said that he hasn't seen Mike for quite some time.

Post #30 in the link below contains some information that I got from Mike regarding how and when to contact him. The information is 18 months old now.

Just below that post in post #31 are some pics posted by member @mqqn. In the first pic, Mike is left center with his hands in his pockets wearing a flannel shirt and blue jeans talking to a customer at his table who also has his hands in his pockets.

None of that really answers your question but it's all I've got.
thanks much for the info @Railsplitter !
