I thought that for one of my first damascus blades I would have some fun and make it a little bit fancy. This is made from Alabama damascus and this stuff is as tough as nails. I'm really impressed with the way it handled in the testing I did. The handle is a gorgeous piece of stabilized spalted ash that I got from Mark at Burl Source.

Overall length: 9 1/2"
Blade length: 4 3/4"
Blade material: damascus from 52100, 5160, 203E, and 15N20
Guard/ferrule/butt cap: damascus with file worked brass spacers and two domed brass pins
Handle: stabilized spalted ash
Sheath: leather left-handed sheath (I can make you a right-handed sheath upon request)

Price: $250 SOLD (includes sheath and shipping CONUS)

This is the first knife I've seen posted that made we want to cry when I saw that it was already sold! Awesome piece of work. (Sniff...)

Man, I love everything about that knife!
Definitely a Grand Slam & one of the nicest I've seen around here in quite some time.

Rob, please get back to work and post more of these. This is a great looking knife, and I would love to have one.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I am planning on making some similar ones in the future, but it will be at least a few months.

Thank You for your unbelievable talent.
This work of art is going to be a family treasure for

I could go on and on about the materials and workmanship,
but for those who read this post, take a look at the pictures
and imagine, the knife in hand far exceeded my expectations. Grandpaed
