Fans of Ka-Bar Knives Pic Contest

I chose the Mark 1 with the rubber handle to show classic meeting contemporary. Classic, old school design and quality meets modern materials.

The knife being lightly used still retains some newness about it, the little bit of work scarring makes it look rugged.

It's a fine knife that I think represents Kabar as a whole.

My kabar Keaton handle big brother is on the way , also got a plain edged leather handled usmc , a kraton handled combo edge usmc with leather sheath , a mule plain edge all black. Tanto folder , 2 TDI s and a kabar bk2 , a extra heavy Bowie , and the Bowie with leather handle , and a potbelly
 
Didn't seen an expiration date on this one, and figured "hey, why not".

Maybe not your iconic 1217, but the best "photo" I have of a non-becker Kabar for a small avatar.
