Really??? Wonder why.....;):) I've FINALLY got a decent edge on it too and it works very nicely thanks. Don't know why but I find current Sheffield steel to be hard to get a retainable edge on :oops: Whereas the French carbone is brilliant every time.
 
Chui Chui Many thanks Paul and JW225 JW225 Jim for your appreciation. It is a really interesting marked bone, kind of Mammoth aspect even, I got very lucky and Jack is correct it's a 2018 knife 562118 single blade in Smooth Appaloosa Bone (is there jigged????;))

I have trouble spelling it, have to look every time...and often cop out with 'Spotty Horse' 😆 They're a beautiful horse mind.
