As for the trike that Ericb posted, I saw a Vespa version a couple weeks ago. I asked the guy (he was with buddies on proper bikes) what its purpose was, and he said it was the only bike he felt safe on after his AWFUL crash a couple months ago. He was driving on a highway, and a lady pulled out in front of him (ran a light) and he T-boned her going 60.He'd just gotten out of the hospital, and used the insurance money to buy the new bike. He told me the coolest part of the design was that it could still lean like a normal bike, but that he didn't have to worry about his now screwed up balance tipping him over at a stop light. It was a pretty cool looking trike, I must say. Cheaper than 15K, I think it might have been in the neighborhood of 8k. Don't remember the cc's, but I think he said top speed was 80.
About the only thing the Can Am and the Piaggio MP3 series share is two front wheels. They're totally different animals otherwise.

As for the Boss Hoss and the Tomahawk, no thanks. I like curves too much to ride one of those.
And since this thread started out about concept cars, VW is supposedly going to put the 1L Concept into production. It's named that because in theory it uses 1L of fuel for every 100km. That translates to 235mpg.
