We all deserve to have fun every now and then, and the same goes for us makers. I dreamed of making this back when I was just a kid and dang it we should all follow our dreams. Loosely based off the idea of broken back seaxs being made from blades that broke in battle, I took my old Hanwei Cawood sword blade and turned it into this. It also uses a wonderful brass guard from a cheaper version of the same sword.
It is 28 and 1/2 inches long with a 20 inch blade made from 5160 steel with a copper accented fuller. The handle is a wild mix of stacked leather, Bloodwood, and the head of an antique Irish Blackthorn Shillelagh for the pommel. The handle doglegs to give you extra striking oomph.
