hey guys thanks for all the good wishes. we got down here on thursday and i just now got the internet up and running. i'm not bragging but it is such an amazing view in back of our house... nothing but woods leading up to two huge mountain peaks. i have some pics already but can't upload them until i get the desktop set up.

lots to unpack still but we are settling in nicely. glad to see there are a couple other forum members near by. i will be setting up an "interactive" shooting range in the back yard sometime this week, mostly intended for pistol shooting but maybe something more in the future. i'll get some pics up as soon as possible.

Thanks guys, don't be too jealous because as much as I'd love to own this house I am only renting for the next few years until I get reassigned again. I had the opportunity to meet up with cobra281 (aka sean) and let off a few rounds in the back yard. it was pretty windy so we just nailed up a few cardboard silhouettes and had some fun with my g19, his mini-14 and ppk, and a couple of .22's. here's some short low quality videos we took with my cell phone, he's also got a bunch of pics we will post as soon as they get uploaded. at some point in the future when the weather is more cooperative i'll bust out the video camera and make a better video.
