Farewell to Paul Basch & Amy Hinchman

Any idea how to get hold of Paul Basch? I have a couple of older Mel Pardue knives he might be able to help me with.
 
It has been close to two years since Paul worked with Julie. He is currently living with his brother or a very good friend out west.

I will miss both Paul and Amy they have helped me a lot. They will be truely missed and impossible to replace.

Actually Paul just lost his leg from surgery and is in the hospital. I have the number to his room and understand he'll be there for a while yet. While its possible to call him if you like I'm not sure its best except in the mid afternoons according to Bob Dozier. Paul could use some contact but I don't know how much he can take on right now or if he'll be very with it when you reach him.

Amy has her own knife site now, she has had it for about a year or so. Cant remember the name of it right now. Last I heard Paul was living with his brother I thought it was somewhere in the northeast but I am not sure.

Ran into her at the Eugene show and have been visiting her site ever since...
 
Sorry to hear of Paul's condition, I was expecting to see him at Spirt of steel in Dallas the end of the month. Last year we had a great break fast, along with Louis Chow,, Jack Putman, Clay Gault, and a few friends. Bummer! Mike

And it's now Amy Hinchman-Pianalto! And she was a great person to talk to, especially after having known of her relationship to the industry for soooo long...

Now I think I gotta get my eyes checked again... :o
