Farid Bladesport Chopper (SOLD)

I bought this knife from Farid. It is a duplicate of a knife he made that won the Bladesport Chopping contest.
15 inches OAL; Blade D3, 10", 1/4" thick at spine, Full flat grind, Rc 61
Handle is a cork & rubber composition.
Very substantial leather sheath made by Farid.
Never used, hair poppin' sharp, lovely in-hand balance. Absolutely top of the line Chopper.

If you are familiar with Farid's work you know he is a highly respected maker known for using tough steels that other makers will not use, such as D3 in this chopper.

This is a heavy duty, but very sharp knife that will defy destruction.
OAL 10 3/8"; Blade 5 5/8" 5160 steel 0.214 thick, Flat grind with Convex edge; Rc 60, enamel coated.
Handle: Canvas Micarta; Heavy duty leather sheath by maker.
Never used but some marks on sheath.







I bought this knife with the intention of using it as my heavy duty outdoor work knife. But after 4 years i have not used it so it is time to move it to someone who will. This knife truly deserves to be used and used hard to be fair to the effort and skill that Marcus put into it.
