Excellent review mine came in and I am working on a beefy carbon fiber grip for it,I will post photos later.Your take on the handles was of great help on this project.

The handles can be removed,and I will refine them in time.They function very well like this,but they could be about an inch longer for my big mits.Carbon fiber sanded to 180grit under water.
Hope this helps.That red on the knife is layout marker because I remove the scales to sand to prevent scratching the knife.

How does one purchase one of these? What do they sell for? Aside from the pride of ownership, what do current owners like about it in practical use versus less-hard knives?
