Can anyone tell me how may REX 121 K2 knives and how many REX 121 Mules Farid Made? I am curious because I had never seen any number. Thanks for this.

I think there were 20 names when the cutoff took place, but then there may have been 4 or 5 made for lefties, but I don't know for sure. Maybe the lefties were included in the names at cutoff. There may have been more mules, I can't find anything on that number.

There was an initial offering of 200 mules and then 12 additional ones shortly afterward. I still have mine. Love it! Rex 121 takes a super edge but I'll chip if used too aggressively. It also will rust very quickly. High maintenance required for perhaps the hardest steel.

There was around 36 or 38 CPM-REX121 K2 folders and there were around 42 or 44 CPM-REX121 mules, all the mules were 7" overall and also there were 4 CPM-REX121 mules which were 7.5" overall.

My apologies Farid, I thought there were more mules than that. Makes me happier that I have one.

Thank you Farid for this information. I didn't want to bring back memories of you working with that steel, but it is good to have the actual numbers. I think quite a few wanted to know just how many. You are the king of hard steels and it is important for posterity that the record is accurate. Thank you again for taking the time to answer this for us.

Anytime, you take care my friend.
