Farm Bowie SOLD and in the mail!
Just a little background on this blade. Last year we spent around 6mths on a North Georgia farm. The buildings were built by my wifes Grandfather well over a hundred years ago, using local materials. Anyhow the materials used in in this blade all came from the Tractor Barn except for the Copper.
Blade is made from a straightened piece of buggy spring spark test showed it to be 5160, found piece of steel for the Guard and pommel. Wood came from the Chicken Coop and was professionally stablilized before use.
Decent Hamon etched to show the steel grain.

Very nice. From where it evolved from I think it belongs in your house to be passed down for many more years. Great job!!!

If I didn't have other expenses chewing on me, it'd be gone. That ENTIRE blade is belly!! Ought to be a cutting machine

Just have to say, that is a really cool knife,. Like a living piece of history that is also a nice knife.
