I buy most of my knives from a little farmers market in Shrewsbury, it's actually called the Shrewsbury Farmers Market. Theres a guy in there selling parts of his collection and stuff he has bought just to sell there, and he is a hell of a nice guy. It's called MBS Knives. I've gotten some great deals, most of his knives have been used, but not abused. He doesn't have boxes for his knives, but most of them are in great condition. He has a lot of Gil Hibben and Franklin Mint knives, and usually has a hard time keeping them in stock. Since money is tight sometimes, I really don't need a brand new knife, just one without a wiggling blade, and one that has a good lock. I guess that I'm lucky that I don't care if a knife is used or not :D . I've found lots of deals up in PA, at farmers markets like Morningstar in York, Roots in Lancaster and the Green Dragon in Ephrata. The large majority of knives being sold are either cheap Chinese junk, or vintage knives, but there are some dealers selling good stuff, I got a real good deal on a Benchmade once at Roots. Also, in MD, I've bought some actually well made Chinese knives at a gas station, and they serve me well as tackle/tool box knives. If you live in PA, and go to Morningstar, lots of great deals can be found at the outside vendors booths.
