Here is a cool little knife I am very proud of. Cable damascus with file work, spalted maple and one all metal mosaic pin and three brass pins.
Its about 9 and 1/4 inches long.
5 inches from tip to plunge line.
A little over 1/8 inch thick.
Rc about 57-58 on edge

Sheath is veg tanned leather, moulded and free hand tooled. Stiching is twisted copper wire. I feel the sheath goes well with this knife. All made by me.

This is my go at a Winkler style knife. Not a copy but inspired.

Price is $145.00 shipping is include SOLD
If you are unhappy with this knife you can return it for a full refund.

I am a relitively new maker. I have been selling my knives a little over year now and this will be the fourth I have listed for sale here.

First I will take it gets it.

I like that--very classic and practical looking; andhat sheath is just cool.

As a new maker, you may want to consider investing in a quality camera and using better lighting for your photos. I have a feeling that your pictures and poor lighting aren't doing your knives justice, and that you would sell them much faster with better quality photos. Just waiting until you have good daylight and photographing them in it would do wonders.

The design looks nice, but it would be great to really see the detail in the filework and damascus better.

Joe, I would like to think your right and that is the reason I have trouble selling. I keep working on making my pics better. I am afraid I dont know how to use my camera well. I did get some advice recently that is helping. I will try to post better pics of the knives I have for sale soon.
I have been told by people who have purchased knives from me online that they do look better in person.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Gentlemen, to all who passed on this knife.. I only have two words for you.............

Thank you !

It may well have been because of the crappy pictures, because they are crappy......:D ...
Sorry Will, but they are. ;)

BUT..... I had a feeling about the knife and went with it. All I can say right now is...... I WIN ......;)

I have to "run" to town at the moment....... but I'll be back a little later with details. So stay tuned and keep your eyes open........

I was impressed with this knife..........

Very nice and well done knife / sheath combo.

This Cable Damascus is dark at the spine transitioning to lighter color at the edge. Very nice visually, IMO. File work on spine is first rate, very even and well spaced. Grind is pretty much perfect as far as I can tell. Fit & Finish of the handle is just about flawless, beautiful work.
This is just an overall Impressive Knife.

The sheath is very interesting and does in fact go very well with this knife. The workmanship and tooling are beautiful. The sheath is "stitched" along the edge with a twist of two copper wires. It is done very evenly and symetrically, cinched down very tight.... makong it very durable it seems to me.... as well as extremely unique.

Just a very nice touch on the sheath to go with this knife. I would do more of these if I were you Will.

I was very impressed with this knife / sheath combo and am very impressed with Will's workmanship. Keep a lookout for him to put another one up for sale... I sure will be........

I was lucky enough to handle...... maybe "fondle" is a better word, this knife today.

I have two things to say.....

#1. You really need to work on your photos if you want to sell via the internet. A picture is worth a thousand words, or perhaps a thousand dollars.:D

#2. I "coon-fingered" this knife from one end to the other, and with the exception of a very small bit of epoxy on the handle, the fit and finish are second-to-none. The overall shape, grind lines, and general balance is great.

You did well my friend........ Keep up the good work. At your age, you have a great future.

#3. OK, I know, I said only two things, but my friend Chuck made a great score here. The price was better than good for the quality of the product received.

My $.02 worth.

Thank you Robert for posting your review of this knife. It means more than I can say to have your feadback. I am trying very hard to do the best work I can. It may seem crazy but I decided a few years back that I was going to spend my life as a blacksmith/bladesmith. Not because I thought I could get rich or anything silly but because I want to spend my life doing what I love.
Reading your kind words and knowing you did not have to post them makes me think I am on the right track.
I do owe alot to this forum and to Delbert Ealy. Before I found this place I was stumbling in the dark and didnt know it.

Thanks also to you Teacher for your purchase and the encouragement.
It sure is nice to have a little boost in confidance.

Thanks All
William Crump

William, you are probably not going to get rich, but as long as a person is doing what they truly love, and can have a roof over their heads and feed their family,............... Well, Life is about as good as it can get.

Keep up the good work my friend, and if I can ever help, just let me know.

Robert
