Which fasteners or pins do you like the best for fixed blade knives, and any pictures to show how it turned out?

I like pins. If you get them snug, they are pretty strong, and cheap! i got a nice stainless rod for free at a welding place. Im interested to try corby rivets, i may try to machine them myself. How do loveless and other knife rivets work?
