Fastner prefrence?

Wanted to put this question out there.
I noticed some knives with acorn/luke rivets do not seem to sell as well as those with Corby bolts.
One of the knife supply companies mentioned that the acorn/luke rivets might even be strongest of all fastners.

I guess my question would be. Are Corby bolts more aesthetically pleasing then the acorn/luke rivets?

I have only used corby bolts. Seems like the finished product would look the same. The only difference i can tell is the corby is two piece(male end and female end). The acorn has a threaded rod and two nuts. They both, with epoxy, will hold the handle plenty good enough.
 
Thanks for your response Rook. I was just trying to get a feel for what most people like to see on their handles.
With the Corby you just see a finished end, with the luke's you see the end of the bolt and the nut.
