Oh, won't you take me home tonight?............

Oh, down beside your red firelight
Oh, and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go 'round.

She sure is a healthy one !!!

Love the sheaths - and love the reference!

(first concert - 1980 - Queen - with the one and only Freddie Mercury!)

Not my first concert,* but News of the World tour in Houston in 1977 at what is now Lakewood Church (home of Joel Osteen). But back in 1977, there were no fat bottom girls. Just a bunch of killer queens, best friends, champions threatening to rock you, and rhapsodic bohemians. And one guy who was in love with his car.

*First was The Eagles Hotel California tour** at The Scope Arena in Norfolk earlier that year.

** Opening act was Jimmy Buffett.

I really like the way this knife feels. Just the right size for my hands, and the handle shape really couldn't be better (for me, anyway).

I also really like the grind. The deep dish is deep enough to be reasonably slicey with enough weight to be a good chopper.

JohnTT, that is truly awesome and I am jealous despite getting to see him and them in '80. I wanted so very badly to see them in '77 for the NoTW Tour, but alas, my folks would not let their 11 y.o. boy go despite the older sister and her friends to "chaperone" (that worked out so so well for them in '80 ;)!). I was absolutely enthralled by that LP and the cover art at that age.

And to my chagrin, you have me beat on the best first rock concert cred with "Hotel!"

I was 13 for The Eagles, but my brother was 15. Which was apparently old enough as far as my parents were concerned.

And I'm pretty sure the tickets were under $20. General admission. Which meant standing about 10 feet from the stage. (The Who killed that a couple years later.) I still have the super cool poster I bought at the show, although it's a bit battered from age.

But enough about that. Anyone who didn't get a Mega Ratweiler really should think about getting one. I was put off a bit by the .350 thickness before I held one. But damn. It just feels right.

And especially if you get the comp version, you'll probably need one of those Buy Brown kydex sheaths that won't absorb the oil.

Do ya think this sheath will fit a standard Rodent 9 without rattling around? What a beautiful color, that orange/brown.
