This particular knife was an order. I finished it and emailed the guy. Apparently, the economy has hit him pretty hard, because he could no longer do it. So, here it is on the forum
The original FNS was made for a friend based on a design he came up with. He called it a skinner, but with 1/4" steel, it could easily be a camp chopper.
The steel is 1/4" 1095. It is forged and the blade is 2" wide at the widest. The steel is clay quenched and sports a very nice hamon.
The hadle is natural canvas micarta. It appears more yellow than most of the natural canvas I have used, but I kind of like it.
The sheath is 8oz hand stitched leather. The keeper strap holds the knife securely in place.

Blade - 3 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 8 3/4"
