Both blades are forged 5160, both handles are paracord over a foundation of neoprene, both sheaths are Kydex. The wrap is impregnated with West System marine epoxy to make it rock-solid and waterproof. Both blades shave hair nicely.

First up is Costello, so named because I forged two tantos at once from the same size of starting stock. One I drew out short and fat, the other long and narrow. Yes, the long one was named Abbott. :D Abbott has gone to a new home, but Costello is available.

Blade length is 12", overall length is 17 7/8".

It's a beefy sucker, with a handle that'll fill your hand well.

Price - $550 plus shipping.

SOLD!!!This camp bolo drops the chopping sweet spot below the level of the knuckles for a powerful chop. The top bevel is a false edge. Blade length is 11 7/8" and the overall length is 17 5/16".

SOLD!!!Price: $450 plus shippingSOLD!!!

Just for fun, Abbott and Costello together. Abbott has a 15" blade. The new owner is quite happy with it. :)

So sweet.
How thick is the tanto at the spine?

Buy these, before this nice maker begins to charge more for his most excellent knives.

Ok, the bolo's spine is a smidge under 3/16" at 5/32", and the tanto's spine is a smidge under 1/4" at 7/32".
