Father and Son Camping Trip

Aswsome pics, I really enjoy them. It looks like you have pretty cool area to hike and camp in. The memories you and your son are making are just plain cool. I love the battoning pic lol. some like um and some don't. I happen to be one that likes them.
the moon pic was cool. Can't forget the fire practice pics way to go.

Looks like that would be a great spot for a BF meetup - we should try and arrange something soon.

Good idea. Lots of room, and another site just like this very near by.

What a great trip, thanks for sharing :)

Thanks, and you're welcome!

Great trip... nice pics........ Took my 16 yr old son camping last week..... did not hike much..... Went 4 wheeling.... had him be the fire master....... Enjoy these times my friend... It seems everything speeds up when they hit those teen years....I intend to camp and fish every chance we get.....

My son is doing more and more every trip. It's great getting out with the kiddies.

What a wonderful experience. My 7 and 4 year old boys were talking to me yesterday about getting into the backcountry.

Sounds good. I've been doing outdoors stuff with my son since he was very little.

You could have gotten there - gotten out of the car - and walked around and it would have been more than what most kids get time with their dad.

You did awesome stuff here. Good job.

Great job making time for your son.

My brother got reminded of the importance of this last weekend when he agreed to sleep in the trailer with his youngest son. He told us his son was thrilled to get to sleep in the trailer. His wife reminded him that his son is thrilled "to spend time with his dad."

Thanks for the pics too.

Thanks. I can't even wrap my mind around the concept of being an absentee dad.

Some great shots man, looks like the two of you had a great time!

Thanks.

Good job Dad! I am sure you and he will remember days like these forever. Keep up the good work and it sure is beautiful there.

Just doing what we love.

Yeah, Son did a good job with the photography. I absolutely did not need to do any fire prep on this trip- I just like batoning and practicing fire prep. Plus, the Gossman Big Boar Tusker makes it even more fun!
