Wanted to make something that my dad would use and be proud of.
It was a two fold gift ... after making the knife, I took it to work and had to
make sure that it was going to be good enough to cut small and large fish so
I filleted a beautiful salmon and took both to him and enjoyed both that night.

440C Stainless (blade design WAS copied from net)
9.5" blade 14.5 overall
Homemade "mycarta" burlap camo handle
Homemade Mosaic pins - West System epoxy

I want to thank everyone here for all your help in getting me this far in my new hobby.
Soooo many questions answered and a ton of resources here on the forum.
This is my 7th knife so far.

Thanks for looking !!!
Troy

Great job and I really like the look of that mycarta. I bet you're dad is just looking for stuff to fillet now! What thickness of steel did you use?
