Father's Day Knives

I am no father yet and I didn't gave my father a knife. Some years ago I gave him a SAK, but he prefers using his Friedrich Herder working knife, which he owns and uses for about 20 years now.

Got a Kershaw Orange handled Tyrade G-10 and a Benchmade Dejavoo BM740 which should be here later this week. These were both self purchases.

I gave my Dad a Benchmade Benchmite II. Hey, did anyone know that Benchmade made an auto version of the Benchmite II? Too bad it's dicontinued though.

CPMD2 Paramilitary. Fit and finish are outstanding.

My daughter saw me looking at it (from the only source left) and then hunted it down until she found it.

After making 3 "trial" knives I decided I knew enough to make an attempt at a real knife for my father for fathers day. I'm still in the process of making a sheath for it and that should be done in a day or two (out of kydex), but here it is. Its a hunting knife.

My soon to be wife got me this beautiful bayonet for fathers day. I had no idea what she was cooking up. All I knew was she got it from the local surplus dealer. It was from the owners personal collection.

Sounds like you got a pair of keepers there. Congrats on both the soon to be wife, who seems to know what her soon to be husband likes, and the bayonet.

I am acquiring a gun safe as a Father's Day present. I bought my Father in Law a Swayback gent Tony Bose Case Collab in cv with chestnut scales. It is late, but enroute.

An evil forum member who shall not be named put on a Father's Day clearance in the Exchange.

I succumbed to temptation and treated myself to a knife I'd been eyeballing for a while.

Original Busse Lean Mean Street.

Yes she is...She was my Dora the Explorer for Haloween. These are the people in my life that make fathers day special.
