I'd have spent more time looking on the second hike on that trail but there was bear crap in several places that wasn't there the day I lost it.

Would be a good place to have a W&SS multi-day hike/get-together.
It's not far from the last Wilderness Learning Center session in Michigan.

Thanks for taking us with you on the visual hike. My regrets on losing the Koster. I, along with others I am sure, have been in that same situation & know how you must have felt. Thanks for the great pics.
Be safe.

Hi LMT66 -

Awesome pictures!

I have been through the PM's many times. There is a great blacktop road that winds down through the park to the lake (519).

Your pictures brought back my memories of that area, thanks!

best regards -

Beautiful... I hiked up there in 1988 (just prior to my 14th birthday) with a group from Camp Manito-wish. I loved it...! I hope to get back up there one day.

Great pictures...that's such a beautiful area! That's a painful loss on the Koster, but Rick's blades are truly a work of art. Thanks for sharing and hopfully your Koster turns up on a future hike with a nice patina:D

Great photos! Thanks for sharing. They definitely inspired me to try to get up to those mountains at some point.
