Is it so wrong that every few minutes I take a knife and shave off some fatwood and inhale deeply?

I'm getting weird looks at the coffee shop, and the manager and staff are talking in hushed tones and looking at me. :D

The resin rich golden amber fatwood I scored yesterday just smells sooooo good, like honey and pinepitch. I cannot help myself, I just need to shave off pieces and breathe deeply.

sniiiiiiiiifffffff! :p

:D

hi i'm Bushman5 and i have a fatwood problem.............

No,that is normal.

They are just trying to see who will be the one to ask you for some.:D

It's pretty normal, I've been using it for a loooong time and I still like the smell. I don't sit around shaving off pieces to smell in the local coffee shop...but I do like the smell.

I did worry a little about ya Bushy when ya showed me your bag of knives outside Starbucks that time,at least ya wasn't sniffing fatwood as well though !!!!

worry? come on man.....i could have brought my rolling Pelican Case suitcase full of blades! we are after all knife collectors! LMAO! !!

Well, B'rer Bushy, I won't say that its wrong... and I won't say that it's right, either. I mean, snorting fatwood in a public place like that. Actually, I wouldn't know, because I've never had any fatwood to smell, myself... until now.

In today's mail was a box of fatwood, courtesy of our very own Mistwalker (thanks, Mist!) I was busy with other things today, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I did open the box to check it out and, you're right, it does smell pretty good.

Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can get a chance to try it out, and see what you all rave about. Maybe I'll develop a fatwood problem. too.

Oh man, I thought I was the only one that did that. It's such a relaxing smell. Helps me to escape the craziness of the day for just a moment. :-)

Bush, when I opened the package you sent up recently, the house immediately smelled
like Pine Sol....no kidding, I opened the Pine Sol bottle, took a whiff then took a big sniff
of the fatwood, and wouldn't you know....same smell....

Mistwalker does rock! But isn't that how they do it? The fatwood dealers, I mean. They give you a taste to get you hooked and then... BAM... they've got you! Pretty soon you're a fatwood junky, sniffin' fatwood in public places.

LMAO, that's hilarious.

Glad you got it Bob, please try to exert a little self control and try not to be whittling and sniffing at the local Starbucks...we already get enough funny looks from the sheeple without happenstances such as that.

Let me me know if you run out and need another fix...er ...I mean another box, yeah that's the ticket, another box.

.
