Make sure you post Becker content!

My latest favorite is my new Fenix TK-35....820 lumens thrower from hell...runs on two 18650s. The two button interface on the back is outstanding.

There are a few others, like the two Lighthound lights I just picked up that are 320 lumens on a 14500, and 500 lumens on a 18650 (or 2xCR123) that are outstanding performers for the price. Might get pics tommorrow. Haven't mastered the art of the nighttime beamshot yet. But that TK-35 is a compact BEAST. There IS a clone which is only $35 instead of $95 that is nearly indistinguishable, if you don't mind the 2 weeks ship time from china. Might be about 80 lumens less too. But it's still easily over 700.

I would take one of those new Wicked Lasers with lightsaber attachment. Laser's powerful enough to be seen from space, can start your fire for you, and you can have a laser light show, or a lightsaber duel. Or permanently blind yourself or someone else. What's not to like? :D

I rock a 3 light combo, Fenix PD20, Coleman LCD Color filter, and an Energizer headlamp, with 5 settings.

Light is a commodity, so, I like small, powerful and easily replaced batteries.

Yes! Two other gems I found on eBay (I'll take a lot of Becker/light pics tommorrow) is this tiny 5 led hat clip light by Cyclops (smaller than the ones you see in the store), and a 6-led "9V Flashlight" that is built better than paklites. I have them in every bag, with a lithium 9V, wrapped in orange electrical tape (easier to find and hold in your teeth). Those run foreeeeeeeerver.

My 4sevens Quark X's are never far either.

I consider flashlights and their properties as much as as what knives to take if I plan on being out over the weekend.

If you get those coin cell hat lights, you get get tons of batteries CHEAP on ebay. Easy to pack spares.

I use my Fenix for EDC, never leave home without it.

1 CR123 will run it damn near forever.

The Coleman is a "nightstand" light, since its kinda big.

And the Energizer resides in my pack, along with a couple of more 3 AAA LED lights.

Until I can see in the dark, I make sure I got enough light to go around.

That Fenix the one your son blasted you with? Hahaha

Me personally, I'm using a $13 Ultrafire from DX...Cant remember the model number. $13, free shipping, 500 lumens or so, cant really complain :).

Mind giving me the link to where you got that $35 TK-35 clone?

For general outdoor use, I use a headlight. Have a few different, and red for hunting. I still like a big heavy 3 D maglight for checking the house.

Home and camping i have a surefire G2x pro(2x cr123) 215 lumens hi 15 low. With a really foccused bean this blind the shit out of everything.

In my pocket sheath with my BK-11 theres a mag solitaire(aaa) 4 lumens of really yellow light yaaay...

But I've made a pushase of one foursevens preon 1 (aaa) with the Xp-G2 led that will make about 80 lumens...

And a photon 2 micro chinese copycat same quality in my car keyrings for about 6-8 lummems but white.

No, he got me with the 500 lumen Lighthound. I can't let them get a hold of the TK-35.

The model of your 500 lumen Ultrafire is the 502-B. Great light. People stateside can get it from that South American River place, where it is $14 and erroroneously listed as 900lumens. Unbeatable for the price.

As for that other...I'll send you the link on FB. Its the same place your got your Ultrafire. You might find it...but you gotta look under CR123 lights...its usually not under 18650 where it should be. Or search youtube for "Tk-35 clone comparison"....it has the link too.

Add: If you do get a clone, get the one from the youtube link. I strongly suspect those are unbranded first productions from the same factory. The ones that are colored...no telling. The details were way too close on the linked one. Only maybe two slightly improved parts, hence my suspicions.

I have a few flashlights I dig, but my Streamlight Microstream comes with me everywhere. What an astounding piece of technology.

I recently picked up a StreamLight MicroStream at the WNY Gathering. It ROCKS !!! One AAA battery, but puts out a ton of light for as small as it is. I have used it a lot & not had to replace the battery yet. In fact, i like it so much, that i just bought another one at GMtn. Around $20.

My Surefire 6PLED is my go-to light, but I keep a spare 2AA mini-maglite in the pack for backup. I carry a spare set of AA's that fit both my GPS and the light. My phone is surprisingly useful for that in a pinch, but not rechargeable when out and about. But I CAN change it to any color, including red to keep the ol' nightvision.

I just ordered a small AA Inova to keep permanently in my city bag. If it's good I'll probably order one more for each vehicle. Hm, including the motorcycle(s) the number starts to climb quickly.

For that phone issue, lookup "New Trent" on Amazon. Couldnt live without them.

I've been carrying & using a zebra light H51w since Christmas. It's very small and light, about 2oz., but it puts out 172 lumens & has 6 levels. It pretty much goes everywhere with me and has not run the battery down.
The only negative that I can think of is the amount of heat it puts out. It does get hot but not really a problem unless you throw it in your bag without loosening the tail cap. :o

Fenix PD31. Takes both rechargeable 18650 or CR123. 320 lumens.

mandatory Becker content (picture) is my new BK14 which I will pair quite a bit with this flashlight:

Here's my TK35 (820 lumens), Two Lighthound lights(500 and 320), Two Quark Xs(280 lumens), and the 9V light from ebay. And some Beckers.

Gave this to my best friend, but going to get another because it fits in your pocket nice and doesn't have aggressive knurling. Ultrafire 502-B from Amazon. 500 lumens for $15. Got the battery stuff from a Junction on the web that sells Batteries.

I gave to him when I got my Lighthound 18650 since it has a better tint and a forward tactical clickie. But I like the shape/feel of the Ultrafire better. Better pocket clip too.
