Favorite “fidget” knife?

My "carry around the house" knife is the Bugout. When I'm at the computer (which is far more than I should be) I fidget with it, of course when no one is looking mind you.

Compression lock and axis the most.
Shiro would be the only framelock for it’s superior action.
Weirdest one would be the rajah 2. The lockbar is the easiest to push of the triads I have and it feels good fling out and drop the heavy blade.

The Bugout for me. The thumb stud makes it so easy to flick out the blade with the thumbnail. Closes easy with the axis lock of course.

I don't play with my knives. Those who do will prematurely wear out the locking mechanisms.

After reading lots of comments that titanium lock bar to steel blade contacts were a recipe for wear-in disaster, I flipped a single knife, a Spyderco Southard, open at least twenty-five times a day for a year to test this theory. The lockup position and function of the knife were unchanged after 10k+ flips.

Good luck wearing out a well made knife . . .

Butterfly knives are fun I'll admit, but I've seen enough band-aids on my Dad's hands to see what can happen,ha ha. I like fidgeting with the screwdriver/bottle opener on my SAKs. From the 90 position to open and back. Nice solid snap feel. Like cracking knuckles without the risk of arthritis. Drives my wife nuts, ha ha.

There are two for me that come to mind...the first is my Benchmade 940 Axis....I have had this knife for 14 yrs and always open and close it just because I love how smooth it is...the second was the Camilus Cuda...the action had a "button that slid and opened the blade. It was easy to open with gloves on and the more I fidgeted with it, the easier it got to open. I lost it one day while on a comm tower...it fell from 100 ft and I never saw it again. This Cuda is still available but is Chinese made. Bought one for my son just because....

The original CUDA’s show up on the bay from time to time.
