Favorite animal\favorite outdoor user blade

I have always had a facsination with all wild animals so can't really pick a favorite.
The coyote holds a very special place in my heart. A solitary hunter who will pack when neccesary. He is extremely intelligent and cunning. A true survivor.
Squirrels are the clowns of the woods. They always put on a good show.
Snakes and toads have always been way up on my list.
Birds of any kind have a special kind of grace and beauty. Is there anything more beautiful than a bald eagle in flight?
Deer. What more needs to be said?
...And let's not forget the trees......

The knife is a much easier question. Any Victorinox SAK with a wood saw blade.

I'm an Owl guy too. After we'd done some selective logging on my place we cleared paths to haul the logs out. This made for great hunting for a Great Horned Owl which stayed for quite a while. I walked up on him feeding one day and when he was absolutely silent when he flew off through the trees. I'd see him in a branch and he seemed like he owned the place and I was the interloper. really cool bird.

Blade: A number of bladescome to mind, such as a Hudson Bay axe, a small double bit axe, a Randall 14, my EDC (whatever I decide is appropriate that day). All depends on the day and the woods.

I love owls too. A barred owl chose the site for our house which we built on our 10 acres last fall. I find I enjoy any animal I see when out and about. Lately, we've had a young black bear visiting our area, and have seen him in the yard several times over the past few weeks. It's a true privilege to get to see such wonderful creatures every day.

As for blades, I think my favorite outdoors knife is probably my SAK Rucksack or my brusletto balder. I often carry other knives, but these are always my favorites. While it's not a knife, the GB mini is a another personal fave for outdoors wandering.

Man, hard to choose which animals are my favorites. I like to watch, and more importantly listen to, birds. Just beautiful when the woods are filled with their songs. :)
When I go canoeing, I love to watch the dragonflies and damselflies buzz around the weeds and water, like little gems with wings.

I have been carrying my SAK Rucksak pretty much all the time anymore, paired up with a Bark River Fieldsman or Gameskeeper. Also, a Helle Felkniven has been worming it's way in the rotation, but those Bark Rivers are very nice knives.
