Favorite bandaid?

I picked up a box of Elastoplast in Canada several years ago. They are a roll of sticky fabric with a non-stick pad you cut to length. The fabric really breathes and stretches and stays on until you pull it off, even when wet. Great stuff! Also use the liquid super-glue stuff on fast bleeders because it sets up quick and is sterile, stings though!

My vote is for the NextCare brand (by 3m) medicated bandaids. The rubbery tape stays on a long time and flexes with your movements, they breathe well, and already have the anti-biotic on the pad. What could be better? Also they don't seem to leave glue residue behind like some others I have. I have one in my wallet right now.

After the wound starts healing I switch to New Skin liquid bandage.

I used to just ignore minor cuts and scrapes (if they weren't too messy), but I found that treating them makes them heal a whole lot faster, which is a convenience in the end.

Yes, bandaids in the wallet are standard equipment! Damn the looks, the bleeders around me are always grateful :D

In tuff environments nothing holds like Duct-tape ( I'm being serious)!

Rarely do I cut myself, but when I do I use buterfly closures. If its real bad I've been known to steal my girlfriends Kotex (sort of a battle dressing) before going to the hospital.
