Favorite Benchmade?

Large Griptilian for me. I like the ergonomics, blade options (shape and steel), handle options (color and material) and how easy it is to carry.

I like the 5400 Serum

Being a lefty - most autos are push button and the button is on the wrong side for me. This one is truly ambidextrous.

I also like that I can open it "normally" with the thumb studs should the situation call for it.

I love my Torrent!

It's classy, sharp, smooth and fast.
Here's some pics I googled. I love the size, grips, the steel, and the action.

I also love my large griptilian by I've owned and beat that knife for years and I tend to leave it in my truck.

I will say this is probably more suitable as an edc blade that is used primarily to cut (as a knife should right). I'd hesitate to really work this knife hard though. Not for any particular reason though. It might just be my distrust of liner locks.

The torrent sees a lot of pocket time these days, when my spyderco manix 2 LW isn't there.

Hard to say. My Cabella's Grippie in D2 goes into my pocket most often, but I (ab)use my regular Grippie in 154CM from time to time. I also cherish my 710 and Mini-Rukus. Hard to go wrong with any Benchmade IMHO.

940-1. Got it a couple months ago and it's been my go-to ever since. So light you hardly notice it, but still feels substantial enough to really use. I was skeptical about the carbon fiber but it seems seems plenty rugged.

I've had my 940 a long time. I would never sell it so I'd consider it my favorite but I have the Valet in my pocket tonight which I think comes mighty close.

Not so sure I can pick just one favorite. Depends on if I'm at work or leisure. And even if I pick I may well change my mind soon.
But for the sake of discussion, I will say the Rift is right up there. It's quite rugged, very smooth, versatile, easy to maintain, I like its aesthetics and it fits my hand well. FWIW I have 7 BMs to pick from.

710. One of the first folding knives i brought that I really thought was execelent in every way . The axis lock just so easy and fun to use , blade shape , handle length , etc etc The 943 is pretty amazing also. As with all manufactures , there are excellent models, and not so excellent models for your given tastes, the best bit is when you find that special knife that ticks all the right boxes , but the hunt is pretty exciting also . Happy Christmas all . I've already stuffed quality streets, ice cream and clotted cream, mince pies etc last night , round 2 today . The airs green if you get my drift :D Faron .

Benchmade makes a ton of great knives. In my mind the king of utility in the Benchmade line up is the Griptilian (and mini grip). When Benchmade released the 551-1 I had to get one and I'm glad that I did.

Honorable Mentions:

710: I really love the design of this knife. I could live without the slight recurve (but it's not a deal breaker) and if they release one in stainless with the classy black G10 I wouldn't hesistate to pull the trigger.

940: Another great design and EDC. I prefer g10 to aluminum these days but all in all it's a great knife.

AFCK, wanted but never got one.
Dejavoo, have 2/two of them 1/one large, 1/one small
CQC-7, first knife that got me into nicer knives, carried that thing around for a couple years.
Nimravus, nice knife
