Favorite Benchmade?

The 940-1 and 484-1 are nice but I sold mine. The blade on the 550 along with the Axis lock is great.

Benchmade Skirmish

A quality frame lock with a 4" blade. How do you beat that?

The only down side is that its discontinued

Not just my favorite Benchmade, but my favorite EDC will always be my AFCK 800!

Benchmade lost me with their current lineup of tip up:thumbdn: axis lock knives.

I can't pick just one....but these 2 are on me now.
Love my 477-1.....seems there isn't much love given to this model, but I freakin love it!!
581 with gorgeous red mini cell ctek Ketchen scales.....should be obvious why I carry it often!!
Honorable mentions: 710-1401, 940 & 943 both with DOAT scales, 908-1501, just awesome and a newly acquired 760, DAYUMMMMM!!!
Also.....excellent CS!!

I don't have it...YET, but I'm quite sure that I will love the new Griptilian with G10-handle. The plastic feeling of my mini Grip have stopped me from buying another one.

No love for the adamas yet. I thought there would be. :) my fav is the adamas because it makes me feel lik I ought to smile every time I use it. Deep pocket clip, built like a tank, fit and finish is very nice, capable, confidence inspiring.

Another 940 fan here, it is the most slender folder I own, very pocket and sheeple friendly for a decent size knife.

Hi,
I don't expect any other fans of this, but it's the one I like and use the most: Benchmade Axis Ball flipper; both the blue/black G10 or brown/tan G10 handle models WITH partial serrations.
Very close second is the now discontinued Benchmade MPR 755. (Bet you can guess I have a soft spot for strong little folders!)
Sorry, no pics, but easily found on the net.

The Contego 810 (m390) I just ordered

Because it is (will be) my only one...
Only my 2nd ever, (I lost a grip a few years back, which was my first "nice" knife, before if fell into 20' deep salt water).

It's also the first time I ever personally spent north of $150 on a knife, so I better gosh darn like it!

If the reputation, pics, and specs do it any justice though, based on my griptilian experience, it'll will certainly become a quick favorite.

Beautiful looking knife, I have never had the pleasure but I am sure it will serve you well.
