Favorite blast media?

Can you tell me what you use and where you get it [if they are online]?

Got my new compressor and a blast cabinet all ready to go. Will use it mostly for scale removal, but also for finishing a few tactical knives and Micarta handles.

I use 70 grit silica sand,and i like it but i think you'l find everyone has there own favorite medium..I do quite a bit of commercial sandblasting and have tried lots of other grits and mediums.Try your local masonary yard,or check with a local body shop to find local suppliers.....
