What is your favorite large case pattern for general knife use I am overwhelmed with the choices and I would like to see some comparison pictures. It can be locking or slip joint, 1 blade or 5.

Case Mini Trapper, it rides in the pocket so well :)

Large Stockman with cv. Personally I'm looking to add the large Rancher to my stable.

This thread is worthless without pictures.

Case mini copperhead like the Sunday knife here:

Here's a 6394SS, Gunboat canoe. Since you said large this will fit. They are hefty,4 1/"4 closed, and work well. This one is decked out but you should be able to find one without all the custom work. They can be a little pricey so shop around.

I've recently become infatuated with the Large Stockman, but I'm also a fan of the Sod Buster. Still, in the Large Stockman you have three great blades each with different uses. It's also big enough for larger game, which is a big plus for me.

Here's my 6375s:

And my Sod Buster Junior CV:

Favorite large Case knife? Well that's a tough one, as I prefer the medium sizes so none of the larger ones get much pocket time and I don't own many over 4".

If I were looking for a large Case I'd be looking at the Trapper, Large Stockman, Back Pocket, Panama Trapper, or a Wharncliffe Trapper.

The largest Case knives I tend to carry are the Texas Jack (6292 pattern, not the smaller 62032), Copperhead, or Trapperlock.

I have some pics of each individually but no comparisons.

Trapperlock

Copperhead

My two favorites are the Humpback Stockman (top) and the Sowbelly Stockman (bottom)

Both a pleasure to carry and use.

Best of luck in your decision.

Right now it's my Case/Bose Norfolk. I'm hoping that will change to a Case/Bose WT when I get it.

Oops, I missed the large part! I'll blame it on age.

Well.. I really like the Texas Jack - one of my favorites.

... many many other great Case Patterns out there, like the Swayback Jack/Gent... etc etc

Case Medium Jack.

I just wished they offered it in CV steel like they do the Texas Jack.

Have to admit I'm starting to really like the Case Yellow Peanut in CV.
