Anybody got a favorite or one that stands out as especially good in some way?

Redbone 371 done for SMKW.

3.25" Diamondback fixed blade. Best $2.43* I ever spent on a knife.

* - total cost after sale price ($7.49) and redemption of store gift card. shipping included.

;)

Buck Mayo Cutback. My son got it for $15 and gave it to me for Father's Day. Initially, I carried it to make him feel good. It quickly became my EDC though - it's very well made and it does anything I ask of it.

+1 for the cutback. Got mine for $14 dollars before I knew the difference between frost and spyderco. Was happy to find out that it was actually a respectable company and not some cheap knife manufacturer that made it. I have pretty much carried it as my main EDC since I got it. Does pretty much everything I need it to and feels very well built.

i was given a sb china buck as a gift and i was supriused it work great.
it is in my tackel box and if some on the pier wants to barrow a knife
that is what they get..
several times i have gotten comments on that i lent a buck out !!
also on its return and comments that it cuts great!

Ditto on the diamondback. A great little blade with a super ergo handle.

I wonder if they make any good dog cleaning and skinning models over there in China. Surely they do, or at least make some sort of good canine steak knife.

Kidding...., I think.... I've bought a few china bucks on sale. They can be a good price.

I have never bought a China made Buck, but I bought a China made schrade that isn't bad. In fact I've used a few China made knives that have been great. I have noticed a lot of change in production knives in the last fifteen years. I hate to say it, but the quality of work in general, not just in knives, has gone downhill in America. There seems to be a few knife brands were some quality still remains.

I love Appleton Wisconsin ;)
Its a great place, but don't tell everyone :D

Nice myspace!

Buck Nobleman! Remove the clip...drop it in your pocket...and it disappears. Nice and thin. A very nice knife.
