Favorite compression lock

I really do like the CL as my daily carry is one of my PM2s since I have several in different steels. Second on the list is the Canis which has an amazing blade style with a little more weight that allows for very easy drop close.

My smoothest ones have got to be, factory, the Sage 5, the full copper PM2, Maxamet, + my maple PM2, aluminum... most PM2s are great tbh. Occasionally get a comp lock that is a little stiff to close. It is still a great, great lock, one of the best

I only have 3 compression lock folders. An original PM with D2 blade. Para 3 and a shaman. I like them all. If I had to rate them I guess it would be the Shaman and PM tied. The Para 3 is nice but it doesn't feel quite right when compared to the other 2.

With no real rhyme or reason, my favorite compression lock knife that I own is the Para 3. I'm not sure why, but the PM2 just never really clicked with me, leaving me with a strong preference for the Manix over it, and even though I tend to like larger knives something about the Para 3 just works. I may try the new Military at some point when an interesting combo comes out (and I may even give the PM2 another shot with 15V). I also have a Yojimbo that I like just fine, and a Lil' Native but the size of that one leaves me feeling a bit cramped manipulating the lock.

TBH, I've never owned one, but from afar it appears to me that the Smock with the button seems to be the best thought out execution of the compression lock.
