Kershaw Military Boot Knife - Study construction and a unique multi-function sheath.

i found it to be the crappiest kershaw i ever owned, the scales cracked on mine in a week...put it aside to maybe rescale it and polish the blade.

Mine is the old Kershaw Trooper, model 1007. Got mine in pretty rough shape and repolished it and got a mean edge back on it...didnt come with sheath or nothing so it has a makeshift one until I can get a kydex sheath rig made. Genuine ebony handle model, no markings on guard and different stamp to newer models I have seen...paid $30. :thumbup:

Mines is the fallkniven MC-1!

9 inches of convex grind goodness in vg10! (hopefully it's not too brittle for that size of a blade). The kydex sheath it came with seemed sorta thin and weak..but that's probably because the dagger is so huge in comparison.

I don't know about you guys but I always get disappointed after buying a 5 inch or 6 inch blade dagger...so damn small in the hand. (ie. protech brend, mod beshara)

A proper dagger should have at least a 7 or 8 inch blade imho lol!

i still like the classic Fairbairn-Sykes pattern daggers. you can get an MoD-NATO issue one for a little over AUD$100.

I would only ever get a dagger as an interest peice, but if I did, it would have to be one of these.

I know, I see they are still bringing $200+ on eBay and even more in stores that have the odd one still in stock...got it at a pawn shop, scratches all over the blade and weird edge angles but now its all good again and its a lot of knife. Really thick blade with a nice balance to it.
