That is actually just the locking method. They usually open with thumbstuds...1. Thumb hole
2. Thumb stud
3. Slider which I interpret as a BM axis lock type
If you slide the button , the slightest wrist flip will open or close fast .That is actually just the locking method. They usually open with thumbstuds...
But I like them for their ambidextrous usage.
Yes: you are correct t about that.If you slide the button , the slightest wrist flip will open or close fast .![]()
Spydie flick is my favorite, whether it be via hole, stud, or fuller.
But, my real preference is for knives that have at least three deployment options.
Looks nice, but definitely bigger than my usual carry.if you don't have one already, get a Spyderco Tropen which offers a flipper, wave and compression lock release wrist flick as 3 means of opening
Heck, you probably don't even have a tactical fanny pack.I prefer to take a knife out of my pocket and open it, rather than deploy it.
This is definitely my preference.Fixed blade
This is pretty much my mindset as well. I’m old school, I like slipjoints and lockbacks the best for folders. If I had to choose, I guess the Spyderco hole would be my favorite, simply because of the ease of use, even with gloves on. Although I like thumb studs just fine and one of my favorite knives has them.I prefer to take a knife out of my pocket and open it, rather than deploy it.
Because of weirdo laws, I can't just carry a fixed blade on my belt
