Favorite EDC Blades For Around $100?

I love the Sage1 fits my med hands perfect. PM2 for bigger hands, but that one fits my hands perfect too. I only have about a dozen knifes, but tend to grab my PM2 the most. The Kershaw Rake 2nd but it has the speedsafe that you don't want. I don't have one but handled a JYD2 (very, very nice.) that sounds like it would also be up your alley.

A Buck Custom Shop custom made 110, made with S30V blade, nickel silver bolsters, and wood scales (Mine has blue Dymondwood - same price.) - with a nylon sheath and shipping - is $86 and a few weeks wait from Buck Knives (Check their site.).

You can add finger grooves and engraving and just break a C-note. Sure, you can get a US-made base 110 at WallyWorld with it's 420HC blade, brass bolsters, and rosewood colored Dymondwood scales for ~$30. It'll be fine - but a custom 110 - in S30V and with nickel silver bolsters is only available special order. More moola will buy you neater scales, too - like jigged water buffalo or real stag. Check that 'base' knife out to see if it's to your liking. I've camped with just the basic 110 - I know folks who hunt deer with it - but Buck does call it the 'Folding Hunter'!
