The 1447 and the Mike Wilson are so different yet both caught my eye and held it.
Yeah I did a little internet trawl looking for the KaBar. It says discontinued model. I might copy the designThe Wilson is only a few weeks old, but I cannot stop carrying it. I picked up that 1447 a couple years ago at a little trading post in Kokadjo Maine. It was still in the package and everything. the plastic packaging was so brittle it crumbled in my hands!
Ah, the small Trigonaut, I've been meaning to get one for some time now. How do you like yours ?
It's really designed more and a defensive blade with a lot of weight in the handle. The way the handle is shaped you can really only hold it a couple of ways where something like the BK14 or my camillus cuda has a more versatile handle shape and seems better for utility/every day stuff.
Guess I'll have to try it out the next time I'm in Solingen, why does that town have to be so close to me - not good for my bank account
