favorite factory framelock?

Kershaw Ti Bumps

I have had real good frame locks from Kershaw. I also like the little Cricket by Spyderco and for the money perhaps its one of the surprisingly nice ones available just small. Of course the Sebenza and Striders are going to be very nice. The PT is probably my favorite Strider overall though. The others are just monstrous and hard for me to justify carrying at all. If I were still active duty I may feel different about that. The Cuda Maxx is a huge knife. I've seen three of those in my shop for stuff from bead blasting to pocket clips and the quality control on them is pretty good. Huge knives though. These are all mentioned already though. What about others?

Some of the sleepers I've seen in the industry that I consider exceptional values are the S2 by CRKT, the Kershaw Chive, the A.G. Russell folding Sting, and the Titanium Salsa by Spyderco. These were all very cool and well built folders when I had the opportunity to play with them here at my shop for low rider pocket clips, Waves or some other embellishment or mod.

Chris Reeve invented the framelock, and everyone & their dog has copied it. Amazingly, his folders still have characteristics, some of them obvious, some of them quite subtle, that make it a superior folder than other framelocks costing much more. Long live the sebenza!

Everyone loves a sebbie...but what about cheap framelocks? the cuda EDC was a great pick for the money and in 154CM for under $25 most places can't beat it...but I have to throw in there with the cheap choices the Kersahw Vapor or Vapor II...I just picked up a used one on the forums for $8 shipping included, I already own both models but these make good beaters and I now have a beater for my car...a knife my friends can play with without me getting nervous, lol...

Any form of Sebenza is going to do it for me. Running in at second are my SnG's.

I'll second, no third Art-Mart and OilMan on the Ti Bump (no matter no matter no matter what color, from the technical viewpoint :-)

Was looking at the image of the three ti bumps. Is that a grak grey/black bump? Did not realize they were produced. I have a blue one and really like it, very solid.

Hey Death's Head, how are you liking the Delta? I've always been interested in it.

I love the knife. I wouldn't pay retail for it though. I got a great price on it. The knife has a bushing and PB washers just like the Sebenza. Takes some very close tolerances to produce a knife with bushings. This knife also has something like a Hinderer Lock Stabilizer, and I am also enjoying the flipper that it has. This knife isn't the most eye-pleasing though, but I still love it.

Unfortunately, it would appear Camillus has down-graded the CUDA EDC's blade steel to AUS 8.

A microtech mini socom is perhaps my favorite knife to carry. I did hold a sng at a gun show this weekend and that is a very, very sweet knife. I also like the cqc-12. -Gotta say that at this point the mini socom is my favorite frame lock though. -Untill I manage to buy a sng, I assume.
