Favorite "Family" of Knives?

I'd say my favorite families of knives right now are the Paramilitary/Para 2 variants, the family of Griptilians and the different flavors of Kershaw Shallots.

The Spyderco Endura line would be my number one favorite family; for fixed blades, the Becker line; and for slipjoints, the Stockman pattern.

My favourite family of knives is my collection of Victorinox alox Soldiers/Pioneers, from different years, in different colors and also models issued by the Dutch army.

I'm going to give a shout out, since no one else has so far, to spyderco's values line ambitious/persistence/tenacious/resilience. Literally redefining value in production folders IMHO.

Seeing as I have more of them than any other single knife in my collection I'm going to go with Cold Steel Ak-47. They were awesome with the ultra -lock and even more so now with a mini and the redesign and addition of the tri-ad lock to the regular size. Whole lot of knife for the money.

Today it's anything from Spyderco in VG10. Yesterday it was the Benchmade Morpho Balisongs. Saturday (I was fishing) it was Spyderco's Salt lineup. Overall it's got to be the Endura line. I own three right now, which is low for me. Great knives. Here's to hoping for more Endura sprint runs! Although, as I've mentioned, their VG10 is tops in my book.

For a small folder the William Henry B-15 series. For large folder the Camillus MADD MAXX.

Hmmm, I hope I am understanding your question correctly. I really like the Esee line. They all have a good amount of "curve" in the blade, and each size looks related to the others. I find that they are all great at a lot of bushcrafty chores. Just today I was carving a spoon from cherrywood with my Esee 4, and was very pleased at the balance, sharpness, and blade curve. Just a great line of knives. The heat treat from Rowen is fantastic. If I am not "getting" your question, my apologies.

Benchmade 805, 806 family... especially since they've re-introduced the m390 limited runs through knifeworks!!
