The Ahti Tikka given me by Andi on this forum. On my belt every weekend. Goes where I go. Sheath and handle showing dings and dog bites.

Probably this one, a Gladstone Marbles Fieldcraft gifted to me by my Daughter.

A fine pair. I don't know how you guys do it. Although I have a favorite slipjoint, I haven't been able to do the same with a fixed blade. There are too many designs, too many sizes for me to choose just one.

I could easily get through life with just three carry knives --- my Ahti Tikka, my Victorinox Farmer, and my Craftsman 9473/Ulster 89. This three knives are about all I ever carry (excepting a Wenger Esquire on my key chain).

I have to agree with Christian. Do I have a favorite? I have many favorites...

But for an all-around, most useful and versatile EDC, I find that my Gunny is the one I reach for most. Not too big, but big enough, and it can do just about everything from food prep to dressing any small/medium animal to making kindling. And the handle feels like it was custom-designed for my hand. While I shudder to think about only having one knife (:D), I could get by if this was it:

And SAK - I never get tired of seeing pics of your Fieldcraft. What a classic knife.

I have to say I do have some fix blades that I like and are great knives that would recommend people . But my favorite right know is my BR Aurora . Best all around knife in my opinion . I bought a GSO4.1 and haven't used it . two weeks ago went out for the weekend . Stayed at a cabin wanted to take the GSO but the Aurora was looking at me like really you dumping me and I couldn't leave her behind . Sad but truth . I'm sending it out for a spa treatment so maybe the GSO will see some action .

I usually have my Blind Horse Knives Classic Stallion with me: 13C26 Sandvik steel, flat grind, 2 1/2" cutting edge, maple with black liners, brass pins, lanyard hole. This is a handy fixed blade that will do everything I need here in town. Carry it in a KSF wallet with a Surefire light and can't find the pic now. :( A really nice little knife.

This is my weekend yard helper, a knife by E Miller given to me by Vince.

For hunting (primarily whitetail) I will take this Buck 118 over any of my other knives, so it is my favorite fixed blade. For general purpose outdoorsman use I prefer my Buck 105 - just a little more blade. OH

I've got a bunch of fixed blade knives that I really like. This one, from Burt Foster, is right at the top of the pile.

There are many and they change constantly. I think the motto of the US on its Seal and coins is 'e pluribus unum' but here's a current 'one' Hess Knifeworks Maple Burl Skinner

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Aurora. I have been drooling over one for a while now. What are your thoughts on the sheath that comes with it?

I have a lot of favorites, most of them classic Schrades but the one that is always on my hip is my JK Rule #9.

I'm thinking it's a pretty traditional looking blade.

Great to see the Ahti Tikka in regular use :)

My favorite FB is a knife like this

a Jagdnicker :D (what else...)
