I meant the bottom one. I thought the top one was a Chris Reeve/Bill Harsey knife.

Actually, the top one is a clone of the Polkowski Bulldog that Bob Kasper and Polkowski collaborated on when Kasper was teaching Kni-com prior to his death. It was also done by Bob Appleby and this one has extensive time in the jungle where I patrolled as a police officer on the island where I live in the south pacific

I can’t pick a favorite. I can pic a favorite style or design though. 4 to 6 inch blade, drop point, micarta and usually a high Carbon steel.

I decided today that I am probably going to buy an ESEE Izula S35VN for those times when I need the thinnest, flattest knife I can carry. I've had my eye on the stainless Izula for years, ever since it was announced, but couldn't really think of a particular use for it. And then I realized today that I do, in fact, have a particular use for it.

FB I actually reach for and use on a daily basis is a chef's knife.

Favorite? A Camillus/Fisk OVB Bowie knife from back in the day. Carries like it's made of smoke, sharp as hell, easy to maintain.

Easy favorite and most used is the Benchmade Altitude. It’s all I use when skinning and quartering elk and deer on public land meat hunts.

S90V holds an edge like nothing else I’ve tried and believe it or not, a 3” thinly ground blade is absolutely perfect for big game meat care.

This is my Fiddleback Forge machete. It's 16 inches of 1075 steel. I'm a bit of a steel snob, but for chopping salmonberry back from my road, this thing rocks. We just spend an afternoon together clearing about 400 feet of road of salmonberry, thistleberry, elderberry and such. I've been using it since 2015. It's really a nice knife. Good balance, good geometry, nice length and a sweet handle that that's soft on my hand. And it cuts like a demon.
