Favorite Folder Grip Design?

Two handles comes to mind:

1. Gunting (like glue, whichever grip I use)
2. Emerson P-SARK (same, same)

For me, it's got to be the old standby...Benchmade AFCK. If I could just find one with a satin finished blade of S30V and black, linen, grippy micarta handles, I would be happy as all get out.

If Camillus could lengthen the handle of the EDC by X amount, I would still be happy with the 3 inch blade. They are very good value.

I really like the large Sebbie. While not what I would consider the best in any one grip, it also does not do anything wrong in any position. This flexibility is what an EDC knife should possess rather than just superiority in one or two grips.

Darrel Ralph's custom EDC are also very nice (I find the Camillus offering too small). Nicely contoured and flexible. I actually like this one better than the Sebenza.

My all time favorite however has to be Brian Tighe's "Tighe Fighter". This knife just sucks your hand into it. Any time, any where, any position. All with total comfort. It offers much more flexibility than most indexed handles and much more security than those with lightly contoured grips. Here is a pic (borrowed from another Forumite with good taste, Keith  )

Of the folders I own, the handle that seems to fit me best would be the Crawford Shark. Secure, hand-filling grip.

My Emerson Commander, definatly.... like someone else said in this thread, feels like they had a mold of my hand and shaped the knifes grip to fit.

The Spyderco Rescue and Endura are extremely comfortable in my hand.

And the Victorinox Soldier, Pioneer, and Electrician models--simple smooth and comfortable.

Handle fit is a very personal thing obviously, but for me I find the Benchmade 910 Stryker to be the most appealing of my 27 tac folders. - Lee
